Funded Coach terms & risk disclosure.

1. What Funded Coach is

Funded Coach is an educational and analytical tool. It helps you track and analyze a prop-firm trading challenge that you have purchased from a third-party prop firm (FTMO, FundedNext, The 5%ers, Apex Trader Funding, Topstep, Funded Trading Plus, E8 Markets, The Funded Trader, or any other firm you choose to configure inside chartgrade).

We provide:

• A coaching dashboard that tracks the rules of your chosen firm.
• Algorithmic setup detection across 104 instruments.
• Annotated charts, dollar-math sizing calculators, and trade-survival simulations.
• A "Today's Mission" card with a suggested next action.
• A monthly written + Loom video review of your challenge journey for the duration of your subscription. Communication is asynchronous — we do not provide live phone or video calls.
• Priority access to our Discord community.

2. What Funded Coach is NOT

• We do not execute trades. Every trade is placed by you, in your own account at your own prop firm, on their platform (MT4, MT5, cTrader, Match-Trader, Rithmic, etc.). chartgrade never has trading authority on your account.
• We are not a prop firm. chartgrade does not fund accounts. The funded account you are working toward is provided entirely by the prop firm you contracted with. Their rules, payouts, and terms apply to that relationship — not ours.
• We are not investment advisers. Nothing in chartgrade constitutes personal investment advice. Our setups are algorithmic observations of price action; you decide whether and how to act on them.
• We are not regulated as a brokerage, fund manager, or signal service.

3. No guarantee of passing

Most people who buy prop-firm challenges do not pass. Industry-wide pass-to-funded rates are estimated at 5–15%. chartgrade does not change those underlying odds and cannot guarantee that you will pass any challenge, transition to a funded account, or earn any payout.

Where we publish a "pass rate" on the Funded Coach page, that number reflects the historical performance of chartgrade users who used our coaching during their challenge. It is descriptive, not predictive. Your individual outcome depends on your trading decisions, market conditions, and your own discipline in applying the framework.

4. You own your losses

All trading involves risk. Trading leveraged instruments (forex, futures, CFDs, crypto) can result in losses that exceed the capital you risked. Even though prop-challenge losses are capped at the price of the challenge, the time, opportunity cost, and any associated stress are real.

By subscribing to Funded Coach, you accept that:

• Every trade you place is your sole decision and your sole responsibility.
• Losses, breaches, account terminations, missed payouts, and any other adverse outcomes at your prop firm are entirely your responsibility, not chartgrade's.
• The fee you paid your prop firm for your challenge is your responsibility — chartgrade does not refund prop-firm fees under any circumstances.
• Past performance of any setup, signal, or backtest does not guarantee future results.

5. Accuracy of firm rules

We work hard to keep the rules of each supported prop firm accurate and up to date. Prop firms change their rules frequently and without notice. The rules displayed inside chartgrade are educational summaries — the binding rules are those published by your prop firm.If our summary conflicts with your firm's current terms, your firm's terms govern. Always verify the current rules at your firm's official site before acting.

6. Subscription, payment, cancellation

• Funded Coach is a recurring monthly subscription at €149 per month, billed to the payment method you provide via our payment processor (Stripe).
• You can cancel at any time from your account page. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; no pro-rated refunds.
• We may suspend or terminate your subscription if you abuse the service, violate these terms, charge back the subscription fraudulently, or use Funded Coach to commit a regulatory violation against your prop firm (copy-trading services, latency arbitrage, mirror trading, etc).

7. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, chartgrade's total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to Funded Coach is limited to the amount you paid chartgrade in the twelve (12) months preceding the event giving rise to the claim.We are not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits, lost data, lost trading capital, missed prop-firm payouts, or emotional distress, even if we were advised of the possibility of such damages.

8. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless chartgrade, its founder, directors, employees, and contractors against any claim, loss, damage, or expense arising from your use of Funded Coach, your trading at your prop firm, your breach of these terms, or your violation of any law or third-party right.

9. Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the European Union and, where applicable, the Netherlands. Any dispute arising from these terms shall be resolved by the competent courts in Amsterdam, the Netherlands, unless mandatory consumer-protection laws of your country of residence require otherwise.

10. Acknowledgment

When you subscribe to Funded Coach and again before saving your first challenge configuration on /funded-path, we will ask you to acknowledge that you have read and accept these terms. You cannot use Funded Coach without that acknowledgment.

Risk warning — short version

Prop-firm trading is risky. chartgrade provides analytics, education, and coaching only — we do not place trades, we do not guarantee passing, and you are solely responsible for any losses incurred in your prop-firm account. Past performance does not predict future results. Trade only with money you can afford to lose.
