1. About chartgrade

chartgrade is operated by [Your Legal Entity Name], registered at [Address, Country]. These Terms govern your use of chartgrade.app and any related services (the "Service"). By using the Service you accept these Terms.

2. Nature of the Service — INFORMATION ONLY

chartgrade is an information and analytics platform. It is NOT investment advice, NOT financial advice, NOT a broker, NOT a portfolio manager, NOT a regulated financial services firm. We do not place trades on your behalf. We do not manage money. We do not custody assets. We do not solicit deposits.

The information, signals, scores, calculators, backtests, and commentary on chartgrade are provided for educational and informational purposes only. Nothing on chartgrade constitutes a recommendation to buy, sell, or hold any financial instrument. You alone are responsible for your trading decisions and outcomes.

3. No regulated activity

chartgrade does not provide investment advice as defined under MiFID II (Directive 2014/65/EU). We do not provide portfolio management, order execution, dealing on own account, reception or transmission of orders, or any other regulated investment service. Users in any jurisdiction are responsible for ensuring their use of chartgrade complies with local financial-services regulation.

4. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have legal capacity to enter contracts in your jurisdiction. chartgrade is not directed at persons in jurisdictions where its provision would be illegal. We reserve the right to refuse service.

5. Accounts and subscriptions

Free tier is available without payment. Paid subscriptions (Pro, Trader) are billed monthly or annually via Stripe. Subscriptions auto-renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled. You may cancel at any time from your account page or via the Stripe customer portal; monthly subscriptions stop at the end of the current period, annual subscriptions stop at the end of the contracted year.

Annual subscriptions are not refundable after the first 14 days. Monthly subscriptions are not refundable. EU consumers retain the statutory 14-day withdrawal right under Directive 2011/83/EU; this right is waived once you actively use the Service during the cooling-off period.

6. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Resell, redistribute, or sublicense chartgrade content without permission
  • Reverse-engineer the platform or scrape data programmatically beyond fair use
  • Use chartgrade to harass, defraud, or harm others
  • Attempt to gain unauthorized access to other accounts or our infrastructure

7. Intellectual property

All software, content, designs, trademarks, and underlying methodology are owned by chartgrade or its licensors. Subscription grants you a non-exclusive, non-transferable right to use the Service for personal trading research only.

8. Disclaimer of warranties

The Service is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE" without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to fitness for a particular purpose, accuracy of data, uninterrupted operation, or absence of errors.

9. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, chartgrade is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or special damages, including but not limited to: trading losses, missed profits, broker errors, data inaccuracies, or downtime. Your sole remedy if dissatisfied is to cancel your subscription. Our total liability under any circumstances is capped at the amount you paid for the Service in the 12 months preceding the claim.

10. Risk warning

Foreign exchange trading, contracts for difference (CFDs), and leveraged products carry significant risk of loss. 76-86% of retail FX accounts lose money (ESMA-disclosed). You can lose all of your invested capital. Past performance does not guarantee future results. See our Risk Disclosure for details.

11. Termination

You may terminate your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or use the Service unlawfully. On termination, your subscription stops at the end of the current period and your data may be retained per our Privacy Policy.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of [Your Country, e.g. the Netherlands]. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the competent courts of [Your City], subject to any mandatory consumer-protection rules in your country of residence.

13. Changes
